Notes or Memos, where is the app?

Evernote as well. You can access all your notes from any computer and you can add pics if you are comparing prices on something you want to purchase.

Evernote is not the only app that syncs to the cloud. Again, Springpad. With Springpad, you can share notes with your friends in the app, and see their notes that they have shared with you. You can also set reminders for tasks. If you are out shopping and see a book you're interested in reading, you can scan the barcode and the app will create a note for you that includes all the pertinent information about the book (where you can buy it, what it's about, etc.). You can save photos. You can organize and manage different notebooks.

I am just not a big fan of evernote.
I don't know what it is, but I just can't grasp the whole process. At times it's great to have the info there, others it's a PITA to just pull up a quick to do list.

I agree - cloud sync and sharing is great, but how about a simple way to jot
down a short-term list without setting up yet another account with yet another
vendor ?!?

I'm currently using the notes feature of a dummy contact, but really -
it should be a 500 byte app.
