Notification Bar Question?

I just traded in my Note 10.1 (2014) and bought the Pro. My notification bar was black and on the Pro it's pretty much clear. Is there a way to get it black?

Just figured it out. It was an option in Nova Launcher.

The clear bar is allowed with the newer android, but I prefer the black bar as well, just easier to see and find what you are looking for.
