Notification Bar useless on Motorolla 2G- Marshmallow

I recently updated my phone to marshmallow, and i must say im not impressed..
I am experiencing 2 main issues.

1. Whenever I pull down the notification bar, it says no notification I can't use any of the quick features of the notification bar and it's totally useless...

2. The home button doesn't work. Whenever I press the home button nothing happens, to exit an app I have to press the back button 2-3 times..

If u have any idea for a fix pls do tell

Welcome to Android Central! By Motorola 2G, I assume you mean the 2nd generation Moto G, correct? I moved this thread to the correct subforum for that phone.

Try wiping the cache partition: https://motorola-global-portal.cust...tail/a_id/99808/p/30,6720,9151/kw/clear cache

Hello Fadi, welcome to the forums! There's a bug affecting a few phones after the Marshmallow update, related to the setup wizard. For some people switching to 'guest' user and back to 'owner' fixes the notification and quick settings problems. To fix the home key problem I'm afraid you'll need to factory reset the phone.
