Notification bug

Just received my Atrix, plugged it in and set up my accounts. However, I have a constant notification that appears whenever I plug in my phone that says "Disconnected: Unplug your charger from the outlet to conserve energy". It won't go away, even when I unplug.

Does anyone else have this problem?

I believe this problem was due to the cable. I replaced the micro usb charger (that I used for my Nexus One) with a different cable, and it stopped doing that.

Really weird, and btw, it was a Motorola notification bug- after doing some googling I found that it has happened on a Droid X and Cliq as well... so I'm pointing my finger at Blur...

I received the same notification. Doesn't sit in the notification pull down tray but more of a popup widget. I was using my regular, non USB adapter, N1 charger.

Same problem here... really weird.

Plus, you can't turn off the screen while it is plugged into my N1 charger. The screen keeps turning back on.

Also, Is there a notification light to tell me the phone is charging?

Samsung did this with some of their stuff (Galaxy Tab for sure). I think it has to do with how the voltage is metered in the cable or adapter you are using...and I'm peeved as I left my OEM charger at the office since I have 100000000 micro usb chargers at the house and none of them work. My car charger doesn't work either...just keeps flickering on/off of charging.

The screen might be defaulting to staying on while charging. Try this to disable it:

Settings > Applications > Development > Uncheck "Stay Awake."

Nope, didn't work. It charges fine with the supplied charger, but using my N1 charger, no dice.
