Notification categories gone?

I went to go into notification categories so I could set a different notification sound on a few apps so the stand out.

However there is no longer an option for notification categories.

I would upload a screenshot. The app says it needs read and write permission to upload a photo and that's not even a listed permission for this app.

Edit: I can still do this on my fold 5. It may be another thing samsung killed off in 6.1

Then scroll down and enable "Manage notification categories for each app"

I wonder if this is change with 6.1? On my fold there is no toggle to turn this off and on, it's just always on.

Yes, I think it's a 6.1 thing. I don't know why it's not ON by default.

Not only have I searched multiple times for options for email notification sounds---I'm also not receiving any sound notification for the emails I receive---which is a huge annoyance! I normally choose a different sound notification for each of my 5 inboxes. I'd be much obliged to an s24 Ultra user who can show me the way in this matter
