I have just updated to Pie on my S9 and i do think its ok.
You know when you get a Notification i get a Bubble appear, noticed so far from a few apps like...sms/messenger/ebay/amazon..if you hold them you can drag and delete them or press them for a quick view as they open up very small.
I do want my notification with the light flash and icons on locked screen and number count on my apps but not these bubbles that pops up,if say i get...ebay/amazon/sms there on top of each other and you only see the last one until you tap them and open in a line.
Any advice would be great, there like the chat heads you can turn off and on through Facebook Messenger (which this is turned off)

On your phone's Settings, Advanced Features, Multi Window, disable Pop-up view. Don't have the update yet, so not sure if there's additional notification options for that, but that should fix it (not sure why it's doing it from the notification, though...should only be if you open up the app in windowed (pop-up) view and minimize into a bubble/chat head.

Hi,cheers for that i have only set the 2 apps i want this to work on,and it was on the apps that were selected so turned them off, great help cheers and will try it.

I have the same issue as Spook David. However, when I go to find multi window I do not have this option. I'm on Verizon so I don't know if that makes a difference. I really do not want these bubble notifications. Would appreciate any further assistance.

I also have Verizon. Go to Settings > Advanced features > Smart pop-up view and deselect the notifications you don't want. Verizon doesn't seem to have the multi-window option. I'm using a Samsung S9+ so I don't know if my option is Verizon specific or Samsung specific.
