Notification issue

Just came from an S20. No matter what I do I cant get notifications from my ESPN, YAHOO news or sports app and my NFL app. I have gone in and allowed all notifications from all the apps. I have uninstalled reinstalled and still nothing. I can leave my old phone on connected to wifi and there will be numerous notifications through out the day on that device but not the Pixel 10. Any suggestions?

Where aren't you getting notifications on the lock screen or home screen?

You check in the app settings but have you checked the apps settings itself? Long press the app tap Info then Notifications tap can you show a screenshot of what you see?

Yep i have done all that. It's just those few apps that no matter what I do I can't get notifications from.

For ESPN in app notifications is on ? Tap the 3 bars to the right of the team

So I was told by someone else that they had a similar problem when they copied/restored all the apps from a previous phone. That is what I did. I removed the apps and reinstalled and they appear to be working now. The only one that is not is the breaking news I used to get from Yahoo but I can live with it. Thanks for your help.

Yeah that can happen from transferring to another device but like you said resetting the app or uninstall then install should work
