Notification Light

Can anyone tell me if the led blinks while screen is ON? Big issue for me.

Current phone only does it after rooting and using certain ROMs (not MIUI....one of the only ones it does not work with...)

When I am at gym, I watch videos in full screen mode, so no scroll bar. I need led to blink for notifications. Also needed for dock modes...

Can someone verify? Thanks in advance!

LIght comes off as soon as powered back up, it only blinks when off..

Light Flow from the Market is working perfectly. You should all get it.

For some reason, the Google Apps don't have a "Turn LED Notification ON/OFF" menu item. It's weird.

If I get a notification while the screen is on, the notification light doesn't pulse. But if I get one while the screen is off, I get a light.

Thank you both! Cyanogen and ROM's based on his ROM all "fix" that on my OG Droid.

Google took it away starting with 2.1 Stupid, in my opinion!

Another software update to anticipate? Speaker volume and LED controls.

Eta: Tried Light Flow and it works! Just using the "light" version (free!)
