Notification light

Can some one tell me what can i expect from the notification light.
Is it bright and acceptable or not. This is an important function that i require

It works as described.

Won't wake me up from a sleep but bright enough to spot in the corner of one's eye.

With apps you can also set the colors as you please, along with the blink rate.

The led isn't as good as blackberrys of old, but works for me.

It flashes white for notices. Solid orange then green while charging.

If you use an app like light flow you can have different colors flash based on what is occuring. I know when I have a missed call by a red light, yellow is a text, green flash is an email... etc

Very customizable.

Also I have my notification light shut off at night so nothing disturbs me when I don't want it to.

It also flashes blue for Facebook notifications and purple for Yahoo! email (using the Yahoo! app).

Install the app ACDisplay from the Play Store, much better than just the notification light.
