Whenever I get a notification, my lockscreen lights up. Is there a way to stop this from happening. I want to get the notifications on my AOD which I have and don't want to lose.

Are all apps doing it? Usually the texting app does this, so using a 3rd party messaging app that allows to turn this iFeature (yes, I blame them for making this a thing) on/off

It seems to be when I get a text message. I use the Textra app for messaging.

It looks like you may have to enable Do Not Disturb within the Notifications settings. From there you can turn on Do Not Disturb for specific times, and only allow certain apps or no apps. You will still see your Message alerts on your AOD, which is what you wanted. See how this works for you.

You don't have to do all that. There's a setting in Textra to turn it off.
