Notification repeat?

Is there a way to get notification sounds to repeat until they are dismissed on the EVO?

Does not seem that these work for missed emails - I particularly want something for the native HTC email client.

Note that in the Market there is Missed Call for 1.x and Missed Call for Android 2. The link above is for 1.x. Make sure you get the right one.

I'm interested in your definition of a "missed email". You don't read it within an hour after receipt? You delete it without reading it? Because the only other definition I can come up with involves it not being delivered in the first place, in which case the phone would know it was missing... how?

I think the meaning behind "missed e-mail" is that the first auditory notification that you receive when a new e-mail arrived was not heard. So now we would like the notifications to repeat until we acknowledge/dismiss it on the phone.

wow, ive spent alot of time looking through the 50,000 apps for such a simple request and not comming up with much!?! Maybe as the Pre devleopers get their hands wet with android they will come up with the solution like they did with the pre.
