Notification sound is glitching out?!

[Android Central Question]

Since the new update, whenever a notification comes in, the notification sound that I have set almost glitches out and replays the same sound about 15 times at an accelerated speed. Also, notifications seem to follow the volume of 'media' instead of the 'notification' or 'ringtone' volume. As confusing as it sounds, I would really appreciate the help, thanks.

Welcome to Android Central! It might have to do with Bluetooth: https://www.androidpolice.com/2019/...s-with-duplicate-alerts-and-ignored-settings/. Google supposedly has identified the problem and is rolling out a fix, but if this if the problem your phone is having, the fix might not have rolled out to your phone yet.
