notification sound

ok, so correct me if i'm wrong, i still have to test this fully. if i get an email, and i get the notification, but i dont check it, then get another email, will the second one not notify me with an alert? it seems like if i have one gmail waiting already, the others just stack up, but i dont get any more notifications of them. thats kinda weird, as sometimes i may be away from my desk or car, get a notification, but not know about another if i dont check. i'm gonna test this out further.

It will only notify you once until you clear the messages resetting the system. If you just pull down the notification bar it will only clear the light if you have one. So if someone sends you more messages it will be there but you will not get the notification sound unless you clear the messages. I tested it and found it to be dumb, I hope its fixed in froyo!

yup just confirmed it again. dang. that doesnt make much sense in the grand scheme of things. i also hope that gets fixed.
