Notification sound?

I know this doesn't have a notification light because it uses active display but does it have a notification sound for texts,calendar app. etc?

Dude, what planet are you from?? go to settings, sound for general notifications. Go to message app, to customize your text notify sound. Calendar uses general notify sound.

Sorry I should have prefaced by saying I don't have this phone but am considering picking it up. With Verizon giving $150 for a working smart phone (Blu) to buy the Turbo I'm seriously looking at this

It does. I still use an app called beacon which makes your flash pulse when receiving notifications.

Can I assign specific tones to notifications for text messages from specific people? I was able to do that with my last phone, a Samsung Galaxy 5.

Yep just tried it. I miss the dialer odd the note though. Wish letters would appear on the side to skip to certain contacts

You can with many third party messaging apps, many of them free, like Google Messenger, for example.

Right where you set the alarm. Right below the time there is an arrow pointing down on the left. Tap that and it opens options, and at the bottom, under repeat and the days, the alarm tone is listed next to a music icon. Just tap it to change it to something else.

I believe that should be it...
