Notification sounds seem louder

Anyone else notice this? For the last few days it seems like my notification sounds are fairly loud. (I don't have Nougat yet, BTW.)

I've never had that problem. My theory is it depends on the actual notification tone. Did you change yours?

Nope, did not change anything. I just know a lot of people complain about low notification sounds on the Moto Z line. They've never been low enough for me to really care, but they suddenly seem higher, and plenty loud I'd think for anyone.

Without an update that's odd it would suddenly be different

I had the same thought, but they're loud enough that it almost scared me when they first started going off loud.

Mine are still quiet unless I do the workaround "fix" using Device Help and speaker test. I was hoping the next update would fix but sounds like even the 7.0 upgrade did nothing.

Wow...I just made my Moto Z Force Droid my daily driver and have already been frustrated by this, even on 7.0. And I am about to send one to a salesperson in another state and this would not be good because he needs to hear his notifications. We left the Pixel because of Bluetooth issues and now this. Yuck...I hope I don't have to go all iPhone here at work...
