Rewriting the question as I don't think it was very clear.

I just bought a set of Samsung Buds. So far I like them but there is one annoying thing and I think it's the phone not the Buds.

When I have the buds connected to the phone I want to be able to hear all of the usual notifications via the buds but I don't want them to play out loud on the phone.

The whole point of getting the buds was for use where I don't want to disturb others.

Any tips would be appreciated.

As far as I can see with using my Samsung Buds Live and the Samsung Galaxy Wearable App it's set up to say for example ' email ' when I receive one.

Is that what you mean.

Personally I like to know whether its an email or message I've received so I can make the next decision whether to check what its says on my N20 Ultra or my Frontier Watch.

I have ringtones and notification tones set that indicate "email, work email, text message, Facebook message etc.".

I just don't want the ringtones and notification tones to be audible to others around me when using the buds. The whole point of using the buds is so my ringtones and notification tones (and consequently music) don't disturb others in the workplace.

Maybe the "Read aloud while using phone" option in Galaxy Wearable\Galaxy Buds\Read notifications aloud\ would work?

Read aloud while using phone:
"Hear notifications from your phone on your Galaxy Buds, even when you're using your phone."
