notification/system sounds issue

I use the lock/unlock sounds for my 6p, however I notice at least once a day they stop working, one or the other.

When that happens the notifications sound for anything does not work. So alarms, SMS, etc does not work. This has happened before when I need my alarm to actually work, and notify me. It just illuminates the screen and no sound. Anyone else experience this?

I find the only fix is a reboot. However rebooting my phone daily is very annoying, and it only seems to fix the issue for 24hrs before it crops back up again. I noticed something like this in lollipop, and it seems to have carried over to marshmallow.

Are you referring to the Do Not Disturb function? If so you can customize which sounds are affected by this mode.

No. Once a day almost my system sounds stop working. A reboot is the only fix. I noticed this in lollipop, it seemed fixed in 6.0. However 6.0.1 seems to have brought it back. Almost all system sounds cease to work, until a reboot. Idk what it is.
