Notification vibration not working

Sorry if there is already a thread for this but is anyone else encountering problems with notifications coming through with no vibrations?

do you mean for text messages? i had that problem also. what i had to do was while in the text messaging app, i went to settings, and then under notification settings, i checked on vibrate so that it will also vibrate when notified. the only thing is that when you have the volume up, it will vibrate as well. but it works for when in silent or vibrate mode this way.
