Notifications and Google Pay

Hello. Since I switched to the Pixel 3 XL, I'm no longer getting notifications when making a purchase with Google Pay (through NFC).
I've tried clearing memory, but so far not working.

Did anyone experience this? Now I can't really tell if it's app related (as I did not notice this with my original Pixel), or my new Pixel 3 XL is not playing nice with this app.

update: It looks like the app was updated on October 17th, so now I can't tell if it is app and Pixel 3 issue or due to the app update. Anyhow, no big deal dough as the app functions as intended.

You probably did but just double checking, did you turn on the notifications in the app notifications settings?

Yes. Now that I'm thinking, it may be an issue with the latest update of the app. The app was updated around the same time I got my new Pixel 3 XL.
