Notifications: Any way to disable preview but keep sound?

I'm new to Android and would like to how how to stop my email subjects and previews from showing up in the status bar. I want to keep the sound, just stop anyone from seeing the contents.

I read about an app called Gmail Notifier but its no longer in the store.

Ideas?
