notifications do not work with Samsung messages

So I just got a note 8 and I do not get notifications for Samsung messages on the watch.

Sounds like you have something disabled, make sure notifications are on on the watch and the phone not sure specifically where on your phone I had a note 8 for a week and it worked fine with my watch S3
