Notifications for Gear S

Hi there, you app is almost amazing....I purchased it after finding this forum but the issue is, it works sometimes. I have only been able to reply to a hangout less than half of the time. I would pretty much pay whatever you want to be able to reply to hangouts. No what's app, no other text options, just hangouts. Android wear is capable, what's the difference with Tizan? If you need any info: Note 3, latest 4.4 software, Gear s also on samsung latest software. I'm more than willing to help if I can sir and really like what your doing with your apps, giving people options. Thank you.

it seems that after last hangouts App version this is not working ok. Maybe is a bug from Google.

Hey as an FYI, I've been hammered with Google now updates through your app since the last update even when I unchecked Read Google Now notifications. I ended up having to disable the app.

If u turn on the setting for "Do you want to be asked for new type of notifications?" it will ask u when u get new notifications from various 3rd party apps if I want those notifications.

So yes it does it already I use it to reply to textra using this app u just have to uncheck those apps in gear manager after u start getting them otherwise u will get double alerts...

Did u check off the box next to notifications for gear s in the notification area in gear manager?

Same boat. Everything is enabled as it should.

I'm on Google Play Edition if that helps.

I've tried following this but what apps will this let you reply to? For instance I'm ok with forwarding my Gmail through the stock app but would still like to use handcent for my sms but could move to hangouts if necessary. Also is it working fairly well now or are there even more hoops to jump through compared to what's already needed to be done? I've had the S for about 5 days and am liking it so far but replying to notifications is the only downside right now.

I set this up today and followed the instructions now my notifications are working but my phone stopped ringing when i get a phone call. I can only answer it from my note 4 any help will be appreciated. I can make a phone call from gear s

Make sure that in the Gear app you turn off the option for not sending alerts to the watch when your phone screen is on. That was my problem too.

I have "Notifications for Gear S" on my Galaxy S5 and my Gear S. For some reason when I get a notification on the Gear S, I get an image of the Google G in white banner and below that is the Time and below that Temp and weather condition, but no actual message. Here is an image:
Any ideas?

Update: If I change the "Choice presentation template" the I see a full gray silhouette, but the message is always the temp - weather conditions. Never the actual message.

recently I updated my note 4 to lollipop 5.01 and the app is not longer functioning. Will there be any update for this app?

now I'm ale to received notification from the app. however now multiple notifications will will pop up for the same 1 message from whatapp. this is annoying!!

I'm sure I only choose whatapps in this app unchecked in the gear manager.

please look into this. thanks
