notifications intermittant (Galaxy Watch 6 Classic)

I just bought a Samsung Galaxy Watch 6 Classic. It is the Bluetooth model not cellular.

Sometimes notifications do not appear on my watch but there are notifications on my phone.
It appears to be a sync issue.

The notifications do appear at times but not all the time. It is not app specific.
