Samsung Music Player using Bluetooth speaker or headphones. Notifications interrupt and pause the music playing.

Samsung Galaxy s8 using Bluetooth speakers, everytime a text message, e-mail... comes in, the notification sound interrupts the music being played. I like having these notifications on, but is there a way to keep the notification sounds on, yet not have the music interrupted?

The default media behavior on Android is that audio will be 'dimmed' while a notification plays, but resume back to the volume level it had before as soon as the notification is done. It should not, however, be paused unless it's due to a call notification, a call being initiated, or any voice input service being active (voice dictation, voice assistant, etc.).
