Notifications on apps on SD card

I moved several apps to my SD card a while ago to free up some space on the phone's internal memory. What I have noticed is app notifications keep getting turned back on. I'm not entirely sure why. This behavior did not occur when the apps were on the phone's internal memory. Any suggestions on how to keep notifications permanently turned off for those apps on my SD memory card?
