Notifications on Lock Screen.

I have Android 6.0.1 on my Sony Z2 tablet. I would like to have gmail only notifications on my lock screen, nothing else.
At the moment there are no notifications at all on my lock screen.
How do I go about it
All the notifications I receive are seen after I unlock the screen.

Try this: Goto settings app >switch Airplane-Mode to off >Then switch
it Back to On in 30-seconds. If that fails..goto settings >General >Reset
and select "Reset Network settings" Also try Power on/off
last step switch "Data usage on/off and post back-Bye
