Notifications on the screen

Is it possible to turn off the screen, but receive a vibration when notifications come? I would like for the screen to stay off unless I'm accessing the device. Is this possible?

I think it depends on the type of notifications. Can you be more explicit?

I don't want the screen on at all unless I turn it on. I just want to feel the vibration from the notifications.

Isn't there a setting that just says :vibrate only" for notifications?

Not sure....I'm still trying to decide if I'm going to buy the Zen watch. I'm returning the 2nd Gen Moto 360.
