Notifications question with 5.01

Is there any way to set a audible/vibrate notification and NOT a visual pop up notification(or vice versa) for a given application? It seems its either all, none, or priority.

AFAIK, yes, unlike the iOS notification style that Lollipop is trying to implement (sorry, had to be said...), on Android there's no individual switch per app. It's just a general switch for all.
