Notifications require manual refresh

Hey all,

LG V20 (Nougat). As of the past couple days, I no longer receive notification on any app (Gmail, hangouts, Facebook, GOOD, SMS, etc.) unless I go into the app.

No battery optimizations, data enabled, happens over WiFi and cellular and not rooted.

Have had no changes to my phone with the exception of traveling to the west coast. I want to say this started the day I changed time zones (from EST to PST) but now on my way home in CST, and issues remain. Have traveled many times without issue.

Also, tablet is receiving notifications without issue.

Any thoughts?

Glad that got worked out for you. I had read your post earlier and had no clue on what to suggest. It looks though that manually changing the time zone messed something up with timing. With time keeping set to network the time should change on it's own and stay in sync. At least you would think so.

I've done a lot of traveling in the past few years and never saw this happen so I'm ... very much at a loss.

Well damn, looks like not all of the notifications are working. Most are, but others, still nothing.

Any suggestions?

Not that familiar with LG, but there are lots of posts on trying to recover notifications. The battery optimization screws them up on Samsungs, not sure if you have that with LG.

Yeah, I'm reading that everywhere, but not using any battery optimizations.

Really don't want to rebuild phone, but issues still present. Any suggestions?
