Notifications when deleting email from the notification shade?

My 2XL has the Pie update, and I get notifications (like new email notifications) when I opt to "Delete" an email from the notification shade. This is definitely not desired behavior for me, and I can't figure out how to turn this off.

Is anyone else having this problem? It used to be just one of my Gmail accounts, now it seems to be all of them.

I only have one Gmail account so perhaps my experience is different than yours but I only see one notification in the Shade: when I choose the option to Delete, the notification still stays up there for 10 seconds or so before going away. Is that what you're describing?

No.

I get the visual notice like you're describing. And when I tap on "Delete", I get a vibration from the phone. I tried turning on the audible notifications (not just vibrations) for the phone and I still only get a vibration. It's just weird that I get this second vibrating notification from a deletion. It's almost like I'm getting a notice that an item has been added to my deleted items folder.
