notifications while in call

is there any way to get these, like rather then just looking for the litle green light, like will it beep or something?

I BELIEVE it beeps if you receive a text or something during a call if I remember correctly, but someone is going to have to clarify that because my memory doesn't always serve me correctly. But I could have sworn I remember hearing a beep notification during a call to let me know I had a new message/notification.

Well I could b wrong...I hardly ever talk on my phone without a bluetooth on...because I am always doing other things...if someone could help me out that would b amazing...
