Notifications wont go away, haptic feedback setting won't save

I spent all day on the phone with Verizon ans Samsung. Anytime I get a text or email even if I read and delete it the orange bubble stays on the icon.even factory resets aren't fixing this.not happy ! Any help?

You'll probably have to return it and get a new one, but i am not sure if there is a fix.

Have any of you gone into the developer options and chose the option under Apps "Do not keep Activities?" I had the same problem and I unchecked that box and it fixed the problem once i got a new message or restarted it and havent had that problem since.
