Yes, it's about a 5 minute operation, assuming you already have ADB set up on your PC. Download it, plug computer into PC, adb reboot recovery, press a couple buttons, adb sideload ___.zip then 5 minutes later you're up and running.

I did it for the November update when I got my Pixel. Had to do it again. I really wished the OTAs all happened on the same day. Haven't been able to experience the seamless update feature that Google kept talking about.

I wish I would get OTA updates. I waited a few hours and nothing happened, so I just sideloaded. I kinda feel cool going into command prompt and typing out commands rather than just clicking a few buttons in iTunes.

As for my opinion on the moves, I feel like they did something right by allowing the new moves to only activate the ambient display with the option of touching the screen again to get the regular display. Should help out a lot with the battery life.

Tmobile Nexus 6 here. Is 7.0 stable? Is it worth the upgrade to nougat? Night mode is only real desire. Miracast still not active is my understanding. Thanks in advance.

The update turns off Wifi Calling, so if you use it, you will need to re-enable it in the settings.

You should get better battery life with Doze.
