nougat beta battery problems

Hello:

So I joined the beta program after around the nougat release just to check the changes before the OTA; after that I've been having some batery problems. The phone sometimes shuts down at around 20-40%, when I tried to power it up, I get an empty batery icon, but when i plug the phone an turn it on, it shows around the level that it shuted down. I don't see bumps on the back of the phone that could indicate a faulty batery, also when I put the phone on bootload it says that the batery is okay. Any way of fixing this? or should I go back to marshmallow?

My battery life under 7 was terrible. Rolled it back to 6.01. Certainly helped.
