You don't have to use the app drawer, you cab leave it off. This app drawer thingy is making my head spin, not used to it.

I've chosen to leave the app drawer off as well - I actually like having no app drawer now!
Same here too. I didn't expect this to happen.Same here, I've gotten so use to this phone and no app drawer, I actually prefer it over the app drawer.

I do too, and I NEVER thought I'd say that. I was initially so upset when I had heard that some manufacturers (LG? I forget now) may be abandoning the app drawer... But now I'm just so used to not having one. All of my apps that aren't accessed regularly or consistently are in folders and I only have two homescreens. Having an app drawer would probably cause my head to implode.![]()
I think you described how I felt seeing it. At first, I was pleased about the app drawer..until I realized that I couldn't actually hide apps anymore. Being able to hide apps that I never use and can't install is wonderful! To me, an app drawer is only useful for apps you don't use that much but still want/need to have for when you do use them.
The honor app drawer is nice. Has an alphabet search in the scrollbar.
This is an Honor 8 thread. No big deal, just saying.T-Mobile just released Nougat for the Galaxy S7 and S7 edge this morning.
It was a joke lol. No journey required and really more so a metaphor to Star Wars which I see some are fans and others, not lol.I wish you luck on your journey
I've used the Axon Pro recently and while I found it to be a dang good device the experience was not even close to EMUI. EMUI is in its own league which I firmly believe it should be recognized and branded as the third software option. IOS, Android and then EMUI. Why more people don't recognize this is a beyond me. The software isnt Android nor is it IOS so why not have a firm third choice. Not third in line 3 options in software. Yes EMUI is just that differently strong. I find it not to be Android at all actually. So if not I know it's not IOS so what is it? It's exactly what it should be considered, a third software option in the mobile tech world. It's just that solid. The ONLY reason it's branded Android was bc the industry had no other choice. Now they do if they will just wake up and realize EMUI for what it is. It's not Android!!!!!It is surprising that ZTE released nougat update after recently saying it won't be ready until March for the Axon 7. Their forums is filled with many bugs and seems like the MiFavour has not changed much. There are still issues like Android Pay doesn't work with fingerprint scanner, signal strength (WiFi especially).
Not to vent or troll, but I think EMUI is way better regardless of nougat or not. If you doubt me, use Axon 7 for few days, you will see for yourself. Specs alone doesnt make a great phone, the experience does.
That is good to hear. Can I ask is it still very much EMUI if that makes sense. I'm not worried about them tweaking it but does it still reflect what we all know to be EMUI? Which to me is it own league and so different in a good way it should be a third player in the software mobile industry. So overall it's still EMUI correct? Just with a little different layout?Got the update today! Kinda had sweaty palms while the update was downloading, as I was a bit traumatized by the mess I went through when my Lumia 640 updated to Windows 10. No such problems here. Very happy with the update so far!
It's 'called' Android because it is android. The core and Base programming is android with a different UI over it. The underlying processes are android.I've used the Axon Pro recently and while I found it to be a dang good device the experience was not even close to EMUI.
