Nov 20th OTA System Update

Just received Android 5.0 system update for my Nexus 9 (37 mb) Installing now.....Wonder what was updated and/or added?
Anyone else get it?

I got it a couple of days ago. It installed with no problem, but I really haven't noticed any difference.

Yeah I got the LRX21R update. Seems to have snappier performance across the whole tablet. This is what the tablet should have released with.

Installed the update a few hours ago and I'm not really noticing much of a difference.
I always felt that the N9 was snappy or quick.
There still seems to be a studder or weird transition when going from chrome back to the home screen, especially if I rotate the screen from portrait to landscape mode while in the browser.

My update is not working. When I tried to manually OTA it says "EMMC:/dev/block/platform/sdhci-tegra.3/by-name/LNX:8020736:cb05bb08e37fa54271cc3f7986fa0f716f610499:8000256:bd283cc9efc84629ac7597293bd159f9bf9caf" has unexpected contents. Anyone have any idea what this might be referring to and what is keeping my OTA from working? I am on stock LRX21L but rooted. Would root stop this from working?

Yes, it does. You have to be 100% stock to accept an OTA. This video is super helpful. It was made for 21Q but he's got the 21R files up there too.

Yeah, there were some changes with Lollipop. It used to be that you could just disable any system tweaks you had going and if you had a stock recovery you could accept the OTA. I don't really know the technical end of it but for some reason you now have to be 100% stock to accept an OTA.

After upgrading you then have to re-root which is just as simple as flashing the latest Super SU using TWRP.

You mean without locking the bootloader?

Honestly, I'm not sure what exact state the device would need to be in to accept the OTA, and frankly, using the method that I posted above or just flashing the new image through fastboot are so easy I wouldn't bother with it.

If you're already unlocked flashing the update won't erase any of your data.

What are you talking about? Flashing factory images always wipes user data. Flashing OTAs (which is not working for me) is not supposed to delete user data.
