NOVA 2 for Sprint HTC Evo 4g????

I've been hearing how the 200 processor in the Evo 4g can't compare with the 205 in other devices...but the specs for NOVA 2 say it can work on a 200....what's up with that?? And I STILL can't get it for my Evo 4g??

I just got the phone 2 weeks ago because someone stole my Palm Pre (original version from June 2009...by FAR...the BEST phone I've ever used!!!)...and Sprint said they can't replace it...but would (get this) give me a Palm Pixie (piece of ****) for free!!! First off...I'm a grown man...I refuse to carry anything with the name Pixie on it....and second, I purchased at LEAST 20 games that won't work on the Pixie. Oh yeah...and what does Sprint do? They credited my account $25 for new purchases!!! What?? I spent at least $100 or more....wtf??

Anyway....I was conned into taking the HTC Evo 4g...and only took it because I thought it was the best Sprint had to offer at the time. I had to make my selection quickly, because I need a phone immediately...not 3 days or a week later. And Sprint usually delivers the next day.

But, what REALLY pisses me off is that I've seen the thread here stating that the Evo is now $24.99 with 2 yr. contract....but, I pay $8 (thought it was $7...but they must've raised it on me while I wasn't looking!!) a month for years so that when I lose my phone, it only costs $100, right?? Fair enough...I guess.
But, Sprint has the nerve to actually charge me $80 more for the Evo 4g because it's NOT comparable to the Palm Pre (which, by the way, did WAY more than this frickin' Evo will ever do...even if it isn't 4g. And 4g is just a battery hog, imho!).

But, ok.....I can live with all this. However...my FAVORITE game...NOVA...has a sequel....and I want to buy it....EXCEPT....I can't!!

Is this just temporary? Because I see it wasn't released on all platforms or devices right away....even some devices with the exact same hardware/software makeup.
So, what I'm asking is....does anyone know...or believe....that Gameloft will release Nova 2 for the Sprint HTC Evo 4g....or should I return the phone (it's less than 30 days) and get the Evo Shift 4g???

I'm not really sure they'll let me do that, so I'd rather it was just released on the Evo 4g....but I really would like the game.
And, since Modern Combat 2 and Shadow Guardian work wonderfully well on my Evo....I have a hard time believing that it's a processor problem. I have no lag time whatsoever with any games I've downloaded so far....

Anyway...I was a PreCentral guy for 2 years...so it's hard for me to switch to Android...but, now that I'm here...PLEASE, PLEASE, PLEASE...someone have some sort of answer for me...maybe???

Thanks so much....and mahalo to all my new Android friends!!!

C'mon!! I find it very hard to believe that NOBODY has heard anything regarding the release of NOVA 2 for the HTC Evo 4g.... Anybody? Bueller????

I'm only 2 weeks with this new Android OS phone...so I "think" I can return it for a Samsung Galaxy S II....but I'm not sure. I'd rather not go through the trouble....but, I really didn't even WANT this phone...and I'm very much less than happy with it.
I've never used a device which requires so may damn steps to complete a simple task. But....I admit, I was very, very, very spoiled with webOS...and I truly wish that all the avid Android and iOS users could have had the use of a Palm Pre for just a week to see how much easier and intuitive the device was...not to mention the outstanding capabilities of the world's only TRUE multi-tasking phone!

However....I guess Palm was ahead of it's time. I live in the U.S., and it pains me to say it...but my fellow Americans are amongst the most narrow-minded individuals on the planet.....and stupid to boot!! These ARE people who'd rather waste $10 seeing Shia LaBeof [sic] in "Transformers" than to go see a play or even a decent movie...let alone a great movie.

But, I'm not going to act like a troll and talk smack about Android... After all, I'm now, and for the forseeable future, part of the Android family...so it doesn't look good to bash it, right?? Lol....

I just figure that if the HTC Evo 4g...or the Samsung Galaxy s II can't be utilized for what I really need it for, I might as well get some play time out of it... And since Modern Combat 2 works like a charm, I cannot, for the life of me, see how NOVA 2 could POSSIBLY be so much more advanced that it won't work on the HTC Evo 4g....but WILL work on the subpar (compared to the Evo 4g) Evo SHIFT 4g!!! I mean...does that even make sense to anyone here??

Thanks for all your help!!

Got some great info from a member yesterday regarding a completely different problem.....so I'm praying someone will enlighten me regarding this issue!!

You all rock!!

Thanks,

...and Sprint said they can't replace it...but would (get this) give me a Palm Pixie (piece of ****) for free!!!...

I don't understand your indignation here, the Sprint Palm Pre is not being made anymore, the company that originally produced it (Palm, Inc.) sold to HP who subsequently stop producing them. What do you expect Sprint to do, produce a replacement Pre for you out of thin air?

Offering a Pixi (also out of production) is the best anyone can do if you only want a WebOS device.

...I purchased at LEAST 20 games that won't work on the Pixie. Oh yeah...and what does Sprint do? They credited my account $25 for new purchases!!! What?? I spent at least $100 or more....wtf??...

So again, what do you expect Sprint to do, is not Sprint's fault that Palm decided to make the Pixi with different hardware to the Pre. And you can not blame them - or expect them to reimburse you - for the money you lost on software for your device. I lost money when Palm killed Palm OS development and I moved to WM, then to loose money again on software that I purchased before MS decided to kill WM in favor of their new OS. It was not Sprint's fault, nor did I chastized them for not having inventory at hand of an out-of-production phone to replace mine at my convenience.

Please people, stop making everyone else responsible for your issues, in offering you a Pixi they were trying to accomodate you to the extent possible - you should thank them for trying, not bash them and blame them for your loss. Personally, I think $25 credit was a nice gesture given that they were not responsible for Palm/HP decision to kill WebOS and stop production of the phone you had, and they certainly didn't coerced you to purchase software you lost $100 on. In my opinion you are not entitled to the $25 you got, unless they were the ones that broke your phone!

...I live in the U.S., and it pains me to say it...but my fellow Americans are amongst the most narrow-minded individuals on the planet.....and stupid to boot!! The most narrow-minded individuals on the planet? Stupid to boot? Really? Because of their entertainment choices? Wow, you are a real piece of work... I suppose you are the first and final arbiter on proper entertaintment choices for the rest of us now

Sorry for the rant but I couldn't take this attitude...
