I've been hearing how the 200 processor in the Evo 4g can't compare with the 205 in other devices...but the specs for NOVA 2 say it can work on a 200....what's up with that?? And I STILL can't get it for my Evo 4g??
I just got the phone 2 weeks ago because someone stole my Palm Pre (original version from June 2009...by FAR...the BEST phone I've ever used!!!)...and Sprint said they can't replace it...but would (get this) give me a Palm Pixie (piece of ****) for free!!! First off...I'm a grown man...I refuse to carry anything with the name Pixie on it....and second, I purchased at LEAST 20 games that won't work on the Pixie. Oh yeah...and what does Sprint do? They credited my account $25 for new purchases!!! What?? I spent at least $100 or more....wtf??
Anyway....I was conned into taking the HTC Evo 4g...and only took it because I thought it was the best Sprint had to offer at the time. I had to make my selection quickly, because I need a phone immediately...not 3 days or a week later. And Sprint usually delivers the next day.
But, what REALLY pisses me off is that I've seen the thread here stating that the Evo is now $24.99 with 2 yr. contract....but, I pay $8 (thought it was $7...but they must've raised it on me while I wasn't looking!!) a month for years so that when I lose my phone, it only costs $100, right?? Fair enough...I guess.
But, Sprint has the nerve to actually charge me $80 more for the Evo 4g because it's NOT comparable to the Palm Pre (which, by the way, did WAY more than this frickin' Evo will ever do...even if it isn't 4g. And 4g is just a battery hog, imho!).
But, ok.....I can live with all this. However...my FAVORITE game...NOVA...has a sequel....and I want to buy it....EXCEPT....I can't!!
Is this just temporary? Because I see it wasn't released on all platforms or devices right away....even some devices with the exact same hardware/software makeup.
So, what I'm asking is....does anyone know...or believe....that Gameloft will release Nova 2 for the Sprint HTC Evo 4g....or should I return the phone (it's less than 30 days) and get the Evo Shift 4g???
I'm not really sure they'll let me do that, so I'd rather it was just released on the Evo 4g....but I really would like the game.
And, since Modern Combat 2 and Shadow Guardian work wonderfully well on my Evo....I have a hard time believing that it's a processor problem. I have no lag time whatsoever with any games I've downloaded so far....
Anyway...I was a PreCentral guy for 2 years...so it's hard for me to switch to Android...but, now that I'm here...PLEASE, PLEASE, PLEASE...someone have some sort of answer for me...maybe???
Thanks so much....and mahalo to all my new Android friends!!!
