Nova Launcher - Adding Apps to A Folder.

I know I can add apps to a folder by dragging the shortcut onto either a folder or another app. However, most of the time the app/folder am trying to drop onto simply moves out of the way to make space for the app I am dragging. Sometimes, it will allow me to drop the app into the folder, but most often it won't. There must be a trick to doing this, but what is it?

I know what you're talking about. I experience the same thing. I'm use to dragging the app to the home screen and then into the folder
