Nova Launcher joins Branch

I'm sticking with Nova until I see it different from what I've been accustomed to with Nova .

Nova launcher sold

As many know, Nova launcher sold. Some say it's a iffy company. Does anyone have input on this? Are you still using it or are you dumping it? Thanks

I don't see a reason for myself to abandon Nova now ...I will keep it going on my phones and with all the good information from Javier and others including the developer I think if something negative comes down the line we shall react accordingly..

Dang. And I just reinstalled it on my S22U the other day since I had Prime License. Last time I used it was on my LG G2. Read some peoples concerns about it or saying they were going to uninstall it. My take is that if it's working for you now you keep using it and when they do release newer versions and it's not to your liking... there are other launchers out there. With Nova 8 in Beta, I don't see any major change until Nova 9?? So not much to worry about for another year?

Ouch, I was the one to recommend you to install Nova Don't worry, v7.0.57 is the latest public version available in the Play Store and it doesn't include anything related to Branch. Beta 8 is only available through their site.

I love Nova and its been my GoTo launcher for years. They're going to have to mess it up pretty bad for me to abandon it but even then I'd have Niagara, Apex, and even One UI so no way I'd abandon Android. I have a feeling they won't mess up Nova anytime soon but we'll see.

I'm going to keep rotating between Nova and OneUI for now. Nova would have to go really badly for me to stop using it, since I've used it and loved it since 2015.

I'm only on Nova because Next 3D went the way of the Dodo bird. If another launcher with a good 3D UI comes along, I won't hesitate to jump ship if I like it.

Now I could get on board with a 3D launcher :D If you come across a good one please let us know :p

Same here long time nova user just put it on my S22 Ultra and it seems the same and hope also it doesn't change.

Ok, I've just read through the whole tread and some of the linked articles... Been using Nova since I can remember...
What exactly should the concern be? Not really understanding... If I didn't see this thread I wouldn't even know about any of this.
Nothing has changed on my phone.

Something to do with the search function.

I don't use search from the home screen. I don't even use Google's own search from the home screen.

In fact, the first thing I do when setting up a phone (or resetting, as the case may be) is remove or disable the Google app, and turn off the search pill from the interface regardless of launcher.

What would I ever need to search from there for? I compartmentalize my phone use. I know what's on my phone. If I need to search for something, it would be on the internet, and there's a browser for that. I don't need my phone usage mixed up.
