Nova Launcher on Nexus

So how does Nova Launcher interact with Marshmallow and specifically Google Now and Google Launcher services? Can you have the Google Now side screen (not sure proper name) and Google Search while running Nova Launcher? Always on OK Google work?

There doesn't seem to be an option for a Google Now screen on the left.

That's a shame because that is about the only way I can think of that Nova can't mimic the look and feel of the stock launcher.

What you can do is set other Nova gestures to open the Google app, like pinch out, double tap on the screen, swipe up or down with two fingers, etc.

I had run Nova on pretty much every phone I've owned. I threw it on the 6P last night, and took it off after about 2 minutes. Just couldn't do it. Feel's too Lollipop when I'm living' in a Marshmallow world man.

Action Launcher 3 feels more 6.0 and gives you the dark theme option which is nice, but still haven't felt the need yet.
