I was reading on this from Reddit, it was a good ride coming from someone that was in the early stages of the launcher.

I switched to Octopi based on a post here from another user and have been very happy with it. It has everything from Nova I used and I like (with some extras goodies).

Sad to see Nova going the way it has been, but I guess nothing lasts forever.

Looks like the new owners will continue supporting it and future Android versions, ads on the free download from my take on the article.

I'm full Niagara from here on in and kinda feels like a perfect time.

I like Niagara, but DAMN are they super proud of that pro version Lol. I mean the free is good, but there are some features I'd like to unlock but for the price they're asking I'd just rather look elsewhere for a launcher.

To me no one has a set-up like Nova, I do like lawnchair launcher

I like Niagara, but DAMN are they super proud of that pro version Lol. I mean the free is good, but there are some features I'd like to unlock but for the price they're asking I'd just rather look elsewhere for a launcher.

I bought the Pro lifetime, so many options on one screen with the developer on top of things

Rotation has been F'd for years. I anticipate compatibility updates to meet required target API but that's about it.

Nova sits where Titanium did for years. The best out there but not willing to keep with the times or updated. Nova is on that same path unfortunately

The one with 35 reviews in nearly a year of existence? That obviously doesn't quantify it's quality but also doesn't speak confidence in getting too cozy with it.

Exactly, updated.

Updated is a broad term. I don't foresee fixes or enhancements. Only keeping it functional across various Android versions.

That's fine by me like how much did Nova really change through the years before 8.0 version even that was visual changes but didn't get away from what it was .

I think these other launchers try to do to much but it's my opinion of course

I agree, I just want the basics fixed at least. Is what it is though. If Samsung had folders within folders in the app drawer I'd in honesty switch to that.

As it stands, Nova is for now at least my default

Ha yeah that ls a good one for sure I've had previous versions but no longer disable stuff other than what I can stock
