I've always received nothing but spam from go products. I've loved nova since the first time I tried it.
What is is about Apex that you like more than Nova?
Sony XTZ
I haven't looked at nova for a while, so it might be pretty good. The standout features of Apex for me are:-
1) simple layout, no unnecessary bells and whistles
2) it's free with no ads
3) can backup and restore the desktop layouts to the cloud
4) can backup and restore Apex settings to the cloud
5) landscape mode (vital)
6) completely customisable

It sounds a lot like Nova. I actually have the paid version of Apex but I don't use it anymore. I went through this "try all the launchers" phase. I really thought Next Launcher was cool with its sci-fi type effects but a little heavy for my S4 which already seems to like to snack on RAM. I like Nova, it's a good compromise between features, slicqness, and performance.
Here are my 3 screens. Works extremely well and very smooth. Have to double tap the notification bar to turn off. Kind of a pain since the phone is just big enough that I can't always do it just holding phone in one hand.
My only problem with nova on this phone is that you can't make the top icon bar and the bottom nav transparent.
It looks so cheap. Anybody know a work around?
I miss all the other custom features on nova

Interestingly, the stock weather widget doesn't work with Nova. Not a big deal since it doesn't update for the city you are in unless you do it manually. I just went back to Beautiful Widgets.
The dev told me this is because LG doesn't allow it. This kills Nova for me as the opaque nav bar is horrible compared to the stock transparency. SO LG allows verizon to slap an ugly logo right on the front but doesn't allow launchers to adjust the nav bar like stock? Wierd....
