Download the app from Play Store Screen Off and Lock. On Apex or Nova (paid versions), have double tap set to launch app and set to that app. Works like a champ.

Cool. I wasn't aware Apex allowed that, but knowing me I'd forget what app was what. ...and Welcome to the forums!!I haven't used Nova in a while so they might have added this but the deciding factor that has me choosing Apex over Nova is that Apex has the ability to hide app labels inside the app drawer. They both let you do it on the home screen but last I checked Nova didn't let you in the app drawer. I love it being icon only. It gives it a much cleaner look and lets you view more apps per page without becoming too cluttered.

Here are my 3 screens. Works extremely well and very smooth. Have to double tap the notification bar to turn off. Kind of a pain since the phone is just big enough that I can't always do it just holding phone in one hand.
