This started a few days ago as I got an email from Google telling me that someone had tried to access my account. So I immediately changed my password and reviewed the security settings. One of these, the one that turns OFF access to "Less Secure Apps" sounded like a REALLY GOOD idea. I was feeling pretty good until I tried to log into my Chromebook.
I cannot log in to the Chromebook Desktop now!
If I log in as guest, then I CAN log into my Google account. Which means I do not have access to the apps menu (in the lower left). OK, so its not a showstopper but it does seem weird to me.
I know this is to be expected for a "Less Secure App" but little did I realize that Google's own OS would be blocked as well. Does anyone have any experience or suggestions on this?
Thanks,
Dave
