So after my Thread comparing the Xoom with the Playbook, I purchased my Xoom yesterday. Lots of learning to do.
I linked my Gmail account to my Xoom just as I did with my Epic. I was hoping everything would sync up, but no such luck. (yet)
Upon 1st impression, the weight of the Xoom can tend to get heavy after a while.
I have had some Force Closes. Pandora especially. It just wont open at all.
Currently connected on my WiFi HotSpot thru my Sprint Samsung Epic.
I must say I do like the device and what it has to offer. a bit more polishing and it could very well be a perfect device. Accessories are hard to find. Everywhere and I mean Everywhere! has Apple products. I had to order a case through Ebay because no store had one. VZW charges almost $40 for a rubber back cover and I thought that was ridiculous.
I am going to dig more into the device. I wish Motorola had given more in the box. The only thing that was in there was the Xoom and charger and a USB cord. The instruction book is only about 8 pages. They could have very well done more for $600.
Anyone with tips, hints, anything, you want to share with me to enhance my experience, please do!
Thanks!!!
