No I had it before and I can't remember what I did wear any time I would need to enter a series of numbers automatically on screen and number keypad will pop up to make it easier to do the numbers instead of the numbers being at the top of the keyboard it's not like critical I just liked it

I could be wrong about this, but my perception has been that's a server side thing. The webpage determines it. I've never chosen a setting in any keyboard that I can recall that would do that, yet I have had situations where the number pad pops up and others where it doesn't.

It would be a great thing to control. Hopefully I'm mistaken.

In keyboard settings >style and layout >keyboard out toggle numbers on

I meant it brings up a numeric keypad format for it's just the number pad which is fantastic when it does show up

It's a feature of the Google keyboard (Gboard). When you tap on the lower left number key the screen attached below appears. Then tap the "1234" key just to the left next to the space key. The number pad then shows up.

I think she's talking about that number keypad popping up *automatically* when prompted for input that contains only numbers (i.e. a PIN or ZIP code).

I know. I got that. I for one have never seen that happen automatically, just whenever I manually being it up. It may have been a setting in the phone keyboard app similar to my response.

I've seen it occasionally. It seems easier to me to just use the number row if it otherwise requires extra taps. Probably why I remember noticing the number pad when it's happened.
