Nvidia shield android TV kodi 18.5 audio output device setting is greyed out

I am using a 2015 Nvidia Shield and Kodi 18.5 with a Samsung HW-K850 that supports Dolby Atmos. When I was using Kodi 17.6 I was able to select in the audio output device either android raw or EAC 3 now is greyed out Sam with device passthrough. I can still select 7.1 speakers and all the other settings that I could in 17.6 that allowed me to DD+ DOLBY Atmos but now I can not. Is Nvidia Shield since it's latest version update no longer compatible with Kodi or is it Kodi 18.5. Any advise would be appreciated.
