Nvidia Shield not fully recognizing my USB stick...

Hi. I just got a message indicating that my Shield was low on storage, as a result of downloading the "Titanium build. " I plugged a 128 GB USB stick into the Shield and formatted it. While my Shield is recognizing the memory stick, it isn't acknowledging the flash drive's quantity of memory. It has not yet offered me to option to "move data to complete setup." It also displays (below the compromised notation that the Shield recognizes my Lexar memory stick) a message stating that my "Lexar USB drive is safely ejected." My understanding is that I need to remove its partitions. Any familiarity w/ this situation?
