OC Kernel only over stock rom

Could someone compile a kernel using the source code available from lg's website just for an OC. The xiona kernel is not an option for me it causes problems with my battery. I am looking for just a kernel i can flash without flashing over the rom itself.

I wish someone would compile the latest xionia to flash over the older 005 that comes in stock Rom. The version 008 in the xionia thread has the wrong ramdisk so it breaks accelerometer and keys switched. Anyone else have the ability to compile the kernel correctly?

Yeeaaaaaa, agreed. Also, I get 24+ hours with decent usage on 005 so I'm not sure what your issues are.

Sdcard randomly unmounts and the phone charges super slow. There are others in the ROM thread so I know I am not the only one.

Edit: any chance a mod can move this thread to the proper forum? Be nice to find someone to help out.

Yes. The phone takes triple the amount of time to charge and the charge actually goes down if i use it while charging which does not happen with the stock kernel or cm7.

On the slim chance it might work I extracted the kernel and ramdisk from cm7 and bundled it with the ramdisk from xionia 005. As expected the battery charges better and I didn't have the sdcard unmounting issues. However, it doesn't see my ext3 partition so I can't load link2sd and the accelerometer is broke.
