Occasional hiccups

Hi all, I just want to ask a quick question. I just recently bought an M8 and after a few weeks of use, I've started noticing (it's really not that hard to miss) occasional hiccups and freezing. It would happen the most during when I'm downloading.

My question is, is this normal? Do you guys experience this too? Because right now 50% of my ram is currently in use, and the device isn't in heavy usage.

It happens when you're downloading apps from Google Play, or downloading other files from elsewhere? Does the download pause, or does the whole phone freeze?

It freezes when I'm downloading from the play store or elsewhere. I'll try to do that, thanks.

If it's only the download that's freezing, try going to Settings>App Manager>All, select Download Manager, and Clear Cache/Clear Data, then Force Stop. Now try again.

I've noticed that it was when I use Messenger and Facebook that it lags too.
